LA VERSION FRANÇAISE VA SUIVRE (photos follow french text):

Since our blog is registered by date and time, we would like to advise you to check the previous page regarding our trip - you might have to go to "page précédente" at the bottom of the page to get the last information.

We are leaving the Bahamas on a positive note and it is primarily due to our stay at Rum Cay. We spent a week at the Sumner Point Marina waiting for the arrival of our new propeller. This small island is well worth a visit. It is not uncommon to see a mega-yacht in this marina. Generally speaking, wealthy people know about these hidden little paradises. Here is an idea of our experience in Rum Cay.

1. The marina is only $ 0.80 per foot and is extremely well-protected against hurricanes.
2. During happy hours free appetizers is served at the bar.
3. If you decide to dine, you'll have the chance to taste food that could make fine restaurants jealous.
4. The atmosphere is so relaxed that you can even, if you wish, participate in preparing dinner with the chef.
5. Supper is always fresh from the sea which could include: snails, mahi mahi, lobster, conchs, tuna, groupers, snappers, wahoo and more. You are guaranteed a feast!
6. We were surprised to see that in addition to caring for the marina these people are artists. (See photos).
7. You will also have the opportunity to go fishing at sea with a small fishing boat (where the cost is very low).
8. You will certainly have the chance to visit Port Nelson village and have a beer at Sand Bar. In this small bar, Dolores, a former teacher of almost 80 years old who wrote the history of Rum Cay and has met many important people where you will find pictures on the wall. She owns the restaurant / convenience store and more. Do not miss the opportunity to schedule a supper… She prepared us an amazing meal.

In conclusion: Thank God we had the opportunity to spent a week in Rum Cay (Bahamas) otherwise our trip would have been incomplete. If you are around George Town, we suggest you take a little bit of your time to discover this little paradise that is just 45 miles from George Town which is just a short day of sailing.

PS: At the arrival of Rum Cay we recommend that you contact Sumner Point Marina on VHF 16. They will be happy to escort you inside the marina. Attached you will see several photos concerning our stay at Rum cay including the people that we greatly appreciated.

Welcome Letter To Destination Wedding Sample

We are George Town for about 1 week. We've had our fill of this "floating camp" and for this reason that we leave towards Cuba. We raise the sails tomorrow morning and expect to arrive in Puerto de Vita in about 2 days. In preparation for this trip we have translated several key phrases in English which should facilitate the communication when we clear customs. For example:

1.What is the price of the big beer here? Cual es el precio
of cerveza great aquí?

2. How far is the authority of the alcohols closer? Hasta qué punto es
dirección más cercana the Los alcohols?

We have some photos: Camping Boating George Town, 2 flying fish that landed on our boat - Roger buys lobsters - the computer expert (mini-convenience store, internet cafe, several telephone lines available, rental DVD movies) . Despite that everything looks like a small shack owner is very friendly and believe it or not he knows about computers.

Here are the latest pictures that we took in the Dominican Republic. We left Luperon February 3 in the morning and we arrived at 6 tonight at George Town (Bahamas). The trip took place in two stages: Luperon in Mayaguana (2 days including a night navigation) and the same period of 2 days and 1 night navigation Mayaguana in George Town, it goes without saying that we got very tired. Currently we are looking at the possibility of leaving George Town towards Cuba.

Hawaiian Phrases On Life

As you can see this beautiful home is located far north of the Dominican Republic. Joke aside, this cottage is for sale belongs to one of our friends, it is located in the Beauce Beauceville and offers fantastic views of the Chaudiere River. For more information and pictures, here are the coordinates: http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetails.aspx?propertyId=8590973 or contact Mr. Gilles Poulin at 418-226-6288 or 418-774-9234 .

People in the street are very friendly and you can be guaranteed to make you say "Ola" in English which means "hello", of course we salute and say "Ola". When hiking in the small village of Luperon we met a pretty girl whose breasts were quite voluptuous and slightly short. It was then that Roger instead of telling the girl "ola" he looked and said "oh la la". It goes without saying that I burst out laughing.
